Dale Wiley

Dale has been involved in the green industry for over 28 years. Dale was a member of the Grounds Crew at the Beaverton School District, where he spent virtually all his employment working on sports fields. This exposure to sports fields of all kinds, in all kinds of conditions, allowed Dale to develop a skill for making sports fields work, on small budgets and with a limited amount of equipment and other input resources.

Dale spent an number of years as a field representative for two different Toro distributors in Oregon and Southwest Washington. This experience allowed Dale to see and visit many sports fields and golf courses in Oregon and Southwest Washington, and additionally provided him with the opportunity to travel around the United States and observe the maintenance and care operations at many sports fields and golf courses.This was a very broad exposure to industry methods and procedures, that he uses today in producing quality sports fields for the company clients. Dale also served as the Operations Manager of 2 different multi -million dollar landscape companies.

Dale started Western Sports Turf in 2005, to serve a need for quality, results oriented sports field services in Oregon and Washington. Dale managed this business and operations until January 2010, when it was closed due to the poor economic conditions in our service area.
