As many of you know, I have had some health issues stemming from ulcertative colitis starting back in September of 2009. This disease has left me unable to work and function on a normal level. As such our business and personal life has suffered in many ways.

My good friends and associates in the sports turf  and landscape construction industries organized a benefit silent auction that was held at the OLCA Trade Show in December. This auction generated $ 1,300 in donations which the ORSTMA gave us to help with medical expenses.

I cannot begin to put in words our thanks and appreciation for this help. It truly shows the compassion and willingness to help out trade members. It was truly a blessing and great help. I hope to contact each donor and each buyer personally to thank them for this help, over the next couple of months.

I am truly blessed to be associated with such a fine group of people. I hope I am able to return to the industry later this year and again participate in industry activities and associate with this outstanding group. Thank you many times over.
